Ms. Jennifer Faye Dunn, of Arab, Alabama, passed away at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice in Albertville, Alabama on Wednesday November 2, 2022 at age 61.
Ms. Dunn was born on September 30, 1961 to Emmitt Charles Wilson and Linda Faye Durham in Lacey’s Spring, Alabama. As the fourth born of six children, Ms. Dunn discovered early on that she had a calling for caring for children. As an adult, Ms. Dunn was a babysitter and homemaker who cared for many children and helped raise them from the cradle including her godchildren, Jordan Pullam and Kennedi Glover. Ms. Dunn also had a fondness for sewing and quilting, and enjoyed kicking back and watching Grey’s Anatomy, or maybe catching an Alabama football game. She was a devoted member of the Little Gethsemane House of Prayer, and was broken hearted when health issues kept her from attending weekly. She was a kind soul who was always there when needed, and would do anything for anyone. She was always smiling and happy, and will be remembered as a loving and caring mother, maw-maw, aunt, sister, and friend.
Ms. Dunn leaved behind memories to be cherished by her sons; Tristan Dunn and Cory Dunn (Payton Uchecker), godson; Jason Roy, daughters; Melissa Jones (Mark Jones), Stacy Burns (Derrick Burns), Brittany Dunn (Bradley Strickland), and Alyssa Dunn (Ethan Anderton), brothers; Jackey and Sammy Wilson, grandchildren; Reece Dunn, Avery Bannister, Emilise Anderton, Ameira Anderton, Joyannah Strickland, Bruce Strickland, Elizabeth Jones, Krystal Jones and Rylie Jones, and special friend; Floyd Bouray.
