Ms. Jennifer Delaine Edwards, age 53 of Arab, Alabama (formerly of Scottsboro), passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital.
Jennifer was born to Prince Alvin “Sonny” & Carolyn Jean Edwards on February 12, 1971. Her formal career was that of a paralegal, but her love for animals proved to be her calling. In the last few years, Jennifer worked, quite successfully, as a pet sitter.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Carolyn Edwards Ford; her sisters, Sonia Edwards Washington and Amy Edwards Jordan; her nieces who were her world, Elizabeth Washington, Emily Washington, and Skye Bryant; great niece, Kylie Matthews; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many loving friends. She was preceded in death by father, Prince Alvin “Sonny” Edwards.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at Scottsboro Funeral Home on Saturday, September 14, 2024 beginning at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until time of service.
