Jennie Bell Richter, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, August 17, 2024, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and of the Church of God Faith. Jennie enjoyed listening to country music and watching sports.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy J. and Bertha Buie Akers; her husband, Billy Joe Richter; and two brothers, Bobby Akers and Billy Ray Akers.
She is survived by one son, Ricky Barnett (Kim) of Giles County, TN; one daughter, Michelle Garland (Dan) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Katie Mabry of Lawrenceburg, TN; niece, Melissa Mabry of Lawrenceburg, TN; nephew, Kenny West of Lawrenceburg, TN; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2024, with Tim Cunningham officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
