Jelena Marijanovic, 81, a resident of Waynesboro, VA, died Thursday May 21, 2015 at Augusta Health.
A daughter of the late Ivan Duvnjak and Antonija Duvnjak, she was born July 10, 1933 in Zenica, Yugoslavia.
A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she doted on her family constantly. Jelena was known for her love and care for family, and her wonderful meals during the holiday seasons and special occasions. She was a devout Catholic.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Zdenko Marijanovic.
Surviving are her daughter, Melita Dzaferovski and husband Miki; 2 granddaughters, Sonja and Ivona; 3 great-granddaughters, Megan, Hannah, and Savannah.
Family and friends are welcome to gather at the home of Miki and Melita on the afternoon of Monday May 25, 2015.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday May 26, 2015 in Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro, VA.
