Jeffrey Michael Melms Sr., age 48, of Arab, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Marshall Medical Center North. Jeffrey was born July 10, 1975 in Ohio, son of Michael John Melms and Nancy Ann Silverthorne Melms. Jeff and his wife, Tracy Michelle Tadlock Bishop, had shared four years of marriage. Jeff was employed by Polaris in Huntsville, Alabama where he worked as a Process Technician. He attended Liberty Church in Arab.
Jeffrey was a devoted family man. He took pleasure in fishing, bow shooting, Ohio State Football, and cars (especially Muscle Cars and 1969 Dodge Chargers).
Jeffrey leaves behind family members including: wife, Tracy Bishop Melms, mother, Nancy Melms; sons, Bradley Bishop and Jeffrey Melms, Jr.; daughter, Amiee Melms; sisters, Janelle Henderson (Todd) and Jenny Melms-Kane (Marlene).
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Melms and his brother, Johnathan Melms.
Family has elected cremation.
