Jeffrey Jones departed this life on June 10, 2014, at the age of 49 years, 3 months, 4 days.
He was born in Rogersville, Tennessee on March 6, 1965, the son of Audrey Taylor and the late James Stanton Jones. On April 20, 1991, he was united in marriage to Virginia “Gidget” Keith, who survives. Jeffrey had worked construction for TNT Dozer Service and Ryman & Keith Construction. He liked drag racing and working on cars with his boys. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Virginia “Gidget” Jones of Savannah, Tennessee; children, Michael Cook and wife Amy of Crump, Tennessee, Amber Jones, Joshua Jones and wife Melissa all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ciara Burns, Hailey Cook, Dawson Burns, Abigail Burns, Michael Cook, Jr., and Gabriel Jones; mother, Audrey Taylor of Bristol, Tennessee; brother, James Jones of Savannah, Tennessee; sisters, Shelia True of Savannah, Tennessee, Nickie Goodwin, and Christina Jones both of Bristol, Tennessee.
