Visitation will be held Monday, July 8, 2024 from 4:30pm-6:30pm at Magnolia Funeral Home-East. Born July 31, 1956 in Santa Ana, CA., Jeff passed from this life on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at North MS Medical Center, Tupelo. He was a member of Oakland Baptist Church. Jeff was a retired machinist for Caterpillar Inc. with 30 years of service. He loved meeting up with his friends, riding motorcycles, working on his cars and trucks, going to car shows and drag racing. He was an outdoorsman, who was always wheeling and dealing; and known to require some money to boot. He was a great manager of time and money (Milburn). Being the history buff that he was, he loved our nation and had a deep respect for our veterans. He was a respected individual that loved his family and his running buddies, including his dog, Jackie D. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Connie Rast Vatalaro; brother, Steve Vatalaro; sisters-in-law, Theresa Dolaway (Bill) and Shirie Felks; his nieces and nephews, Misty Pierce (John) and their son, Henry, Holley Vatalaro and daughter, Kalee, Heather Whitehead and children, Jamie and Jeremiah and Megan Mathis (Tyler) and their children, Gemma and Laurel; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Conway Vatalaro, his mother, Pattie Sue Blanton and step father, C.E. Blanton. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Jeffrey “Jeff” Wyatt Vatalaro.
