Mr. Jeffrey “Jeff” Lynn Tanner, age 48, of Huntsville formerly of Arab, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Crestwood Medical Center.
Mr. Tanner was born on August 25, 1970 in Huntsville to Bobby Joel Tanner & Wilma Barbee Tanner. Jeff graduated from Arab High School in 1989 and worked at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, music and spending time with his family and friends.
He was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Wilma Barbee Tanner; brother & sister-in-law, Greg Tanner & Julia; nieces, Payton Tanner & Emily Tanner. Preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joel Tanner.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Bro. David Norton, Bro. Chris Herbert & Greg Tanner, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Darren Burgett, Mark Wisner, Jeff Feemster, Brian Cantrell, Brad Kilpatrick, Allen Bell. Honorary Pallbearers; Arab High Class of 1989.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday December 20, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Union Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund.
