Jeffrey Carl Tumlinson, 53, of Sheffield, Ala., passed away Sept. 9, 2012.
Visitation will be Thursday Sept. 13, 2012, from 5-6 p.m. at
Colbert Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel. David Steele is officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Tumlnson;
brothers, Jack Tumlinson and Steve Tumlinson.
Survivors include his daughters, Ashley Vela (Ryan) and Lindsey Klayman (Josh);
grandchildren, Luke, Rory and Cody Vela, Scarlett Klayman;
mother, Martha Tumlinson;
sisters, Nancy Adams and Janet Crawford (Kevin);
brothers, Tommy Tumlinson (Brenda) and Jim Tumlinson (Cindy);
a host of loving nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
Jeff was a member of Woodward Avenue Baptist Church, and a member of the V.F.W. and Local No. 760. He entered into the Air Force after graduating from Muscle Shoals High School in 1977.
