Jeffrey Carl “Jeff” Hamm died Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at NMMC Hospice Unit. He was 64 years old. Jeff was born in Elgin, Illinois on December 20, 1958 to the late Norris Hamm and Jeanne Jahncke Hamm. He was raised in Illinois and graduated from Kaneland High School in Kane County, Ill. He and his family relocated to Northeast Mississippi while he was a young adult and he has lived here until his death. Jeff. Jeff worked locally for many years with Cook and Riley Paint Contractors and retired from Wondura/Stanley Mirror Company in Tupelo where he was a machine operator. A Baptist, Jeff enjoyed the outdoors, was a master fisherman and specialized in charcoal as an artist. A big fan of music especially Lynyrd Skynyrd, he enjoyed grilling and having fun.

A service celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023 at the Charity Church of Jesus Christ, 3750 CR 201, Walnut, Miss. 38682 with Rev. John Mask officiating. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery in Chalybeate. Visitation will be from 5 PM-7PM Friday, August 4, 2023 at Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo and from 10 AM-service time on Saturday morning at Charity. Jeff is survived by his siblings, Scott Hamm (Shelly) of Sandwich, Ill., Joe Hamm (Wanda) of Pontotoc, Patricia “Pat” Brodersen (Garry) of Carpentersville, Ill., Christina Hamm of Sherman, Ms. and Michelle Ford (William) of Tupelo; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom he adored-and their families.
