Jeffrey Bryan Gautney, 53, died Sunday at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Williams officiating. Burial is in Hurricane Cemetery. Visitation is from 6-9 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home. Mr. Gautney was born March 19, 1963, in Lauderdale County. He was a member of the church of Christ and was employed by TVA as a machinist. Survivors include wife, Elizabeth Gautney, Rogersville; daughters, Amber Gautney, Rogersville, Kayla Ezell (Orey), Florence, and Emily Gautney, Rogersville; stepdaughters, Donna Alldridge, Huntsville, and Jamie Chambers (Nicholas), Blountsville; stepsons, Lee Thomason (Nancy), Blountsville, and Marlon Thomason, Blountsville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Gautney (Rhonda), Anderson, James Gautney (Kathy), Anderson, Steve Gautney (Wanda), Rogersville, Michael Gautney (Cecelia), Rogersville, and Alan Gautney (Stephanie), Anderson; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Clellon and Robbie Gautney, and brother, Robert Levern Gautney. Pallbearers will be Charles Gautney, James Gautney, Steve Gautney, Michael Gautney, Alan Gautney, and Lee Thomason.
