Mr. Jeffery Roan Owen, age 50, of the West Point Community of Somerville, AL, passed away on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.
Mr. Owen was born on May 16, 1971 in Morgan County, Alabama to the late James Roan Owen and Wynell Abercrombie Owen. He worked as a Custodian at Redstone Arsenal with Phoenix. Mr. Owen lived in the West Point Community all of his life. He attended the Brindlee Mountain Church of God. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Mr. Owen is survived by his son, Jeffery Tyler Owen; brothers, Terry Wayne Owen (Cindy), Jimmy Wade Owen (Pam); nieces and nephews, Travis (Michelle) Owen, Tara (Chris) Hoffner, Tracy (John) Holley, Jeremy (Lorrie) Owen; great nieces and nephew, Coleton and Brayden Owen, Owen and Ansley Hoffner, Spencer Holley, Lane and Lauryn Owen.
Mr. Owen is preceded in death by his parents, James and Wynell Owen; wife, DeAnn Brown Owen.
A Visitation will take place at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm. followed by a service at 2:00 pm at the Brindlee Mountain Chapel. Brother Jared Andrews officiating. Interment will follow at West Point Cemetery, Somerville, AL.
Pallbearers escorting Mr. Owen will be Jeremy Owen, Lane Owen, Coleton Owen, Brayden Owen, Spencer Holley, and Travis Owen. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Morrow, John Holley and Stanley Black.
