Mr. Jeff Hamm, age 82, passed away late Wednesday at his home in Reagan. He was born April 6, 1941 in Chester County to the late Willie and Arkadelphia Johnson Hamm. He was retired from Olean Tile and was always a hard worker. A jack-of-all-trades, he was always cutting up and making people laugh. He dearly loved his family. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Gale Hopper Hamm; his four daughters, Rhonda Pfountz (Joe), Tonja Hellums (Scott), Shonda French (Chris), and Amanda Odle (Jeff); two sisters, Maxine Edgin and Brenda Jones (Larry); eight grandchildren who called him “Pop Pop”, Brandi Hellums, Brayden Hellums, Kirbey Allison, Hunter French, Maddie Brasfield, Gavin Brasfield, Spencer Odle, and Rylan Odle; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert Hamm, Jerry Paul Hamm, and Kenneth Ray Hamm; one sister, Mayrene Fisher; and one great grandson, Briar Knox Odle.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 PM, Saturday, July 15, 2023 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Smith-Hopper Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 10 AM – 1 PM.
