Jeanne T. Hunter Jeanne T. Hunter, age 77, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2021 from Alzheimer’s, surrounded by family. She was born in Salem, Massachusetts where her children, Richard (Michele) Kinsella, Dragon (Maria) Hunter (born William Kinsella), Philip Kinsella and Katey (Corey) Buckingham were born, and where, in 1978, she met and married Herb, the love of her life, adding children, Erwin (Dawn) Hunter, David (Pam) Hunter, Shirley (Eddie) Black, Patricia (Ronnie) Sams, Linda (Chet) Markiewicz and Scott Macneil.

Moving to Huntsville in 1983, Dr. and Mrs. Herbert E. Hunter joined Willowbrook Baptist Church where they have been members for 37 years. Jeanne was passionate about her 10 children, 36 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren, bringing laughter, music, and love to her family. She taught them to love and follow Jesus, give love freely and unconditionally, and was an example for marriage and what to be in this world, where her presence will be severely missed. Doing the Jitterbug, the Twist, the Bump and Ballroom dancing with her partner Herb, earned them many dancing awards. She loved hosting huge family gatherings and supporting annual Thanksgiving family hikes on Green Mountain. She loved playing piano, thrifting, games, painting, sewing and RV adventures. Jeanne loved God, she loved people, and people loved her.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2nd at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
