Jeanne Lightfoot Williams, 98, of Ripley passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 at her residence. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Friday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 3 PM Saturday at Asbury United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with interment to follow in Asbury Cemetery.
Mrs. Williams was a retired merchant.
The widow of James T. Williams, she is survived by a daughter Janet Rasp of Ripley; grandchildren Tina Hogue (Jeff), Jennifer Bickerton (Barnabus), Larry Escue (Molly), William Rasp (Angie), Kelli Young (Donald), Melissa Jowers (Brad), and Lindsay McBroom; 16 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers William, Russell, Tanner, and Leslie Lightfoot; sisters Kathleen Akin and Margaret Hubbard; daughter Linda McBroom; grandchild Jamie Elizabeth Rasp; and great-grandchild Casey Lynn Hogue.
