Jeanette Wylie Dewberry, age 84, of Florence, Alabama, died, Friday, August 28, 2015. The visitation will be Sunday, August 30th from 12-2:00p.m at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. A graveside service will follow at 2:30p.m. at Wesley Chapel with Glen Murks officiating.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Pearl Flynt, husbands, Ernest Wylie and Charles Dewberry and sister Dorothy O’Bryant.
Jeanette loved her flowers and blueberries. If you ever visited her at home, you probably left with a cutting, bag or pot of plants. She loved her family, church and hard work.
Pallbearers will be Joe Williams, Harry Wallace, Jimmy Wallace, Jeff Spillers, Lanny Bruce, and Kenneth Gean.
Survivors include her son, Danny Wylie (Katrina) of Florence; daughter, Doris Cawthorne (Lynn) of Nashville, sister Virginia Martin (Don) of Edgewood, Florida; grandchildren Blake Wylie (Kendra) of Franklin, Tennessee, Katie Rock of Florence; great-grandchildren, Hunter Rock, and William and Aurelia Wylie.
The family would like to thank the staffs at Keestone Assisted Living, Mitchell Hollingsworth, and Gentiva Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wesley Chapel Cemetery Fund.
