Jeanette Wivie Cook Bunner, age 80, died Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at River City Center. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting the family.
She was born January 29, 1937, in Maryland, to Walter Cook and Evie Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl F. Bunner; one son, Harry Rose, Jr.; one brother, Charles Cook; and one sister, Joanna Arnold. She was born and raised in Carroll County, Maryland, and lived 30 plus years in Spencer, West Virginia. Mrs. Bunner was employed by Spencer State Hospital and Roane General Hospital. She enjoyed playing the accordion and organ, and she also enjoyed quilting, crochet, painting, cooking, and baking, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Rose (Carol) and Peter Rose (Tara); two daughters, Sandra Wood and Gail Rose; three brothers, Walter Cook (Dotie), Gary Cook (Sandy), and William Cook; and one sister, Carolyn Clegg (Howard).
