Funeral Services for Mrs. Jeanette Whaley Robertson, age 91 of Lineville, will be held Monday, January 9, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. David Holcombe and Ben Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the Lineville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Robertson passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Lineville Health and Rehab. She spent some of her life in Randolph County, but primarily in Clay County. She worked as a cook at Chili Dip, now known as Burger Qwick, for some time, and also at Higgins Slacks. She also operated a Day Care. She enjoyed playing Bingo, watching Alabama Football, and enjoyed listening to music. Mrs. Robertson also enjoyed shopping with her family, watching Soap Operas, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Robertson is survived by two daughters: Jean Robertson Robinson and Patricia Robertson Saxon (Mike), both of Lineville; four grandchildren: Rhonda Taylor (Tim), Brandon Robinson (Fain), Amanda Loveless (Joey), and Wendy Harris (Ben); two step-grandchildren: Lisa Plaisance (Randy) and Micah Lowe (Jason); 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great Grandchildren; and one sister, Reba Reid of Wedowee.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Ezra L. Whaley Sr. and Avis Gabriel Whaley; her husband, John Walter “Sam” Robertson; two brothers: Ezra L. “Sonny” Whaley Jr. and Forest L. Whaley.
Active Pallbearers will be Joshua Whaley, Jimmy Whaley, Bailey Robinson, Taner Taylor, Eli Harris, Gabe Harris, Sam Harris, Joey Loveless, and Tim Taylor.
Her visitation will take place on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
