Jeanette Slaton, age 80 of Horton passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Albertville Health and Rehab.
Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Bro. Chris Weaver will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be James Hughes, Bill Cleveland, Scottie Roberts, Dakota Roberts, Jose Evans and Willie Evans. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11 before the service.
She is survived by her daughter; Norma Kritner (David), son; Joseph Slaton (Lannie), grandchildren; Brandy Roberts, Rochell Evans, Leighanna Jones, Carolyn Slaton and Grayson Slaton and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Vernon Slaton, son; Allen Slaton and parents; Calvin Roden and Velmar Riley.
