Mrs. Jeanette Nance Jackson, age 89 was born on May 11, 1935. She was formerly of Gadsden, Alabama. Mrs. Jackson went to her heavenly home on May 20, 2024. She was a God fearing woman who dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Gary Lee and Mark Lee; husband, Robert Jackson; father, Jonas Nance; mother, Ada Nance and all her brothers and sisters.
Jeanette (Granny) is survived by her son, Dennis Lee (Connie); two daughters, Sherry Puckett and Misty Payne, and so many grandchildren: Scot Lee (Laura), Austin and Hannah, Kris Puckett, Kraig Puckett, Nicholas Lee, Jeremy Lee, Chris Howard, Corina, Erica, Alan, Angie, Jonathon, Tisha, Logan, Kaitlynn, and Madalynn Puckett, Scott and Amy May Simmons and so many more special friends and family.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Hibbs Cemetery in Boaz, Alabama with Rev. Dennis Lee and Tony Bryan officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life at 4:00pm following service at the Western Sizzler. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Medical Research at St.Jude.org/donate.
