Ms. Jeanetta Mae Brandes, 80, of Harvest, AL, died Tuesday, September 5, 2023. She was born November 30, 1942, in Bedford, Indiana to William (Henry Ivan) and Clida (Silvers) Frank.
Jeanetta was a gentle woman of strong Faith, purity of heart, generosity of spirit, and integrity of character. She was always an encouraging person, quick to offer moral support or to lift up anyone in pain or sorrow. She was an inspiration to all those who knew her or were simply touched by her life. She lived her life entirely motivated by the Love of her Savior, strongly demonstrated through her devoted and faithful Love for family, friends, and in the loving kindness she offered to everyone she met along the pathway of her life.
Jeanetta worked as a Legal Secretary in Saint Petersburg, FL most of her life, but in her later years, she led a Bible Study, Coordinated Events and Floor Activities, while also acting as a primary caretaker for her father; and she acted as a conservator for other disabled residents of Trevecca Nazarene Towers in Nashville, TN, before returning to Alabama in the final years of her life.
She was preceded in death by her older brother, Robert Renee Frank; twin sons who were lost in her first pregnancy; and her mother and father, Clida and William Frank.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Jill (Brandes, Felton) and Kenneth Dale Hendricks, Jr. of Harvest, AL; six grandchildren, Benjamin Edward Felton [and Candace Marie (King, Felton) Perry] of Nashville, TN; Matthew James and Noelle Blake Felton of Athens, AL; Abigail Elisabeth (Felton) Capps and Andrew James Capps of Elkmont, AL; Zachary Adam Hendricks, Daniel Tobias Hendricks, and Sarah Lillian Hendricks, of Harvest, AL; four great-grandchildren, Joshua David Felton, Amelia Grace Felton, Asher William Capps and Levi Timothy Capps; one former son-in-law, Edward Troy Felton of Tennessee; extended family, Jeffry Maurice, Chara, and Athena Megan Hendricks, of Alabama; and several cousins, many close friends and numerous acquaintances.
