Jean Ratliff, age 92, of Leoma,TN passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Ledbetter Drug, and a member of Cloverdale Congregational Methodist Church. She loved to cook and collect cook books; she also loved bird watching, tending to her flowers, and watching the show Gunsmoke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lee and Cora Elizabeth Norman Renfro; her husband, William Earl Ratliff; two sons, Tony Dewayne Ratliff and Terry Dale Ratliff; one daughter, Peggy Jeanette McCree.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Stephenson (Kenny) of Leoma, TN; special friend, DeAnn Cole of Lawrenceburg, TN; seven grandchildren,Tony Ratliff of Bodenham,TN, Tabitha Barnett (Jeff) of Pulaski, TN, Tad Ratliff of Bodenham, TN, Darren McCree of Pulaski, TN, Alicia McKinney (Allen) of Leoma, TN, Ashley Ayers (Josh) of Loretto, TN, Raven Dean (Jess) of Athens, AL; nine great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 11, 2024, with Gary Crosby officiating. Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to Cloverdale Congregational Methodist Church.
