Jean Lambert Cunningham Jean Lambert Cunningham, aka Momma Jean, 88, of Iuka, MS, died on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home.  She enjoyed sewing, canning, and gardening. She was an excellent hostess and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a long time Christian,  worshipped with the church of Christ and taught cradle roll. She was also a foster parent to a large number of children. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Matheny (Randal); her sons, David Lambert (Michelle) and Bobby Rex Cunningham; her foster children, Robert Figueroa and Theresa Hooper; her grandchildren, Micah Matheny (Valerie), Joel Matheny (Tansy), Leila Washington (Ethan), Jonathan Lambert (Amanda), Hannah Read (Nathan), Zachary Lambert (Kaeli), Sarah Moore (Jacob), Avlynn Cunningham, and Lillian Cunningham; her great-grandchildren, Tessa, Reagan, and Maxwell Matheny, Eden, Judah, and Jordan Matheny, Adleigh, J.J., Jamie, and Jaxton Lambert, Dawson, Silas, Job, and Asher Read, and Angel, Aurora, and Averi Lambert; and her brother, Braxton Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lambert; her second husband, Bobby Cunningham; her parents, Hubert M. and Elizabeth Frances Walker Murphy; her sister, Virginia Ann Murphy Neel; and her brother, Harold Murphy. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 19, 2023, from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel. Services are scheduled for Friday, May 19, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Lance Foster. Burial will follow in Rutledge Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Lambert, Micah Matheny, Joel Matheny, Ethan Washington, Robert Figueroa, and Jim Perkins. Donations may be made in Momma Jean’s honor to Pinevale Children’s Home.
