Jean Jones, 93, formerly of Huntsville, passed away Monday. Mrs. Jones was born and raised in Calmar, Iowa. She moved to Huntsville in 1966 with her husband when he went to work for IBM. She was one of the first female managers for Eckerd Drug Stores. They lived in Boynton Beach, FL for 19 years, and moved back to Huntsville after retirement.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Jones, son, Michael Jones, and grandson, Darren Jones. Survivors include children, Keith Jones (Peggy), Debbie Daniel (Jack), and Doug Jones (Heidi); grandchildren, Dennis Jones, Alicia LaRocca (Rob), Andrea, Millie, and Henry Jones; great-grandchildren, Amber McGee (Jake); great-great-grandchildren, Troy, Tyson, and Taytum McGee; and sister-in-law, Hazel Voge.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Donaldson Grove Baptist Church, 1519 Limestone Road, Elora, TN. A Celebration of Life will follow at the church with Pastor Bob Hill officiating.
