Jean Elizabeth Narmore Wallace, age 66 of Leighton, died Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Her family will receive friends Friday, October 12, 2012 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Phillip Wright officiating. Burial will be in Harris Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Wallace attended Spring Valley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Ruby Narmore and brothers, John and Thomas Narmore. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved the Lord and her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years; Gene Wallace; her son, Kevin Wallace and wife Sonya; her daughter, Gwen Cobb and husband Lewis; brothers, Donald Narmore and wife Judy, Gary Narmore and wife Mary; sister, Virginia Thompson and husband Jackie; special sister-in-law, Donna Wallace; grandchildren, Brittany Darling, Justin Doss, Charlotte Wallace, Logan Doss, Anthony Cobb and Rebekah Cobb; great grandchildren, Daniel Darling Jr., Brianna Darling and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers are Jarrod Thompson, Don Thompson, Ron Thompson, Derrick Wallace, Wade Wallace, Paul Michael, Jeff Smith, and Anthony Posey.
The family expresses special thanks to all the staff of Hospice of Tennessee Valley.
