Jean Bonner Palmer, 91, of Montevallo, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Brookwood Medical Center.
Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 12 until 1 p.m., at Kilgore-Green Funeral Home. Service will follow at 1 p.m., in the Kilgore-Green Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens.
Jean graduated from Carbon Hill High School and gained her BS, MA, and EDS in Education at UAB. She taught at Nauvoo, Lupton and Oakman Schools for over 20 years. Jean treasured bringing out the talent in each of her students. She was a member of Carbon Hill United Methodist Church. Jean was a loving daughter and mother. She was a faithful and giving friend.
She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Ray Palmer; parents, Grady and Obelia Bonner.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Renee Palmer and a host of friends.
