Jean Ardith Williams was born in Indiana in 1939. Her mother, Viola McBee, passed when she was a toddler. She was raised by John and Ethel Earnest in Jasper, Alabama. She graduated from Walker High School in 1957 and married Henry Ross Williams in 1960. They lived in Birmingham most of their marriage. Jean was employed by Orthopedic Surgeon’s Watson & Compton for 25+ years. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Jasper for many years.
The memorial service will take place at Collins Burke Funeral Home at 6:00 PM Tuesday, Feb 11, 2020. The family will receive friends at 5:00 PM.
Jean is survived by her husband, Ross Williams; daughter, Stephanie (Stan) Barry; Grandchildren, Bryant Ross Barry and Anna Barry Leverett.
