Jean Anne Thorn Brown, also known as Grandy, 62, of Florence, AL, passed away August 30, 2024 at her home. She was employed by East Coast Metals and was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Jean is survived by: Only Son: Adam Brown and favorite daughter-in-law Shianne Mother: Elizabeth Ann Thorn Life Partner: Ron Eckl Grandchildren: Charlei Anne Brown, Hartlei Ada Brown, and Adalynn Marie Brown Brother: Mike Thorn (Sandra) Sisters: Debbie Thorn Brewer, Dena Thorn Jaynes, and Patti Thorn Canerday (Joe) Nieces and Nephews: Deanna Sledge, Colby and Phoebe Holden, Ryan and Jessica Morgan, Seth and Allie Thorn, Jamaal and Megan Webb-Johnson Great-nieces and Great-nephews: Harper and Thorne Sledge; Cayden and Connor Holden; Cash, IvyJo, and AnnaGrace Morgan; and Brock and Eli Thorn She was preceded in death by: Father: William Clem Thorn There will be a visitation with Jean’s family on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home.
