JD Taylor, age 81, of Albertville, passed away on December 17, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on June 2, 1942, to the late Johnny and Audie Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Betty Taylor, and his sister, Lillie Bell Taylor.
JD is survived by his loving wife, Geanette Taylor; devoted daughter, Falishia Allen, and her husband Kevin; cherished grandchildren, Alexia Swack, Damien Swack, and Michael Childress; and adored great-grandchild, Gracelynn Allen. He is also remembered by two nephews and a host of other family members who mourn his passing.
A celebration of JD’s life will be held at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 2:00 pm. The funeral service will be officiated by Bro. Johnny Morrow and Bro. Joe Edmondson. Friends and well-wishers are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
JD Taylor will find his final resting place at Mt. High Baptist Church Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest in the embrace of the community he held dear. As we bid farewell to JD, let us remember and celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, family, and cherished moments. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
