Jaye Lene Beason, age 61 of Gaylesville, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at her home. She is survived by her son, Jason Beason of Southside, AL; daughter, Hannah Rutledge (Bronson Rutledge) of Centre, AL; grandson, Bryce Rutledge; brother, John L. Martin, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and close family friends.
Jaye was preceded in death by her father, John L. Martin, Sr.; mother, Clara Martin; sister, Ethel Don Mealer; and brothers, James Martin and Joseph Martin.
She was a graduate of Gaylesville High School, class of 1980.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Gaylesville Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Family Care Center – Food Distribution Center in Centre, AL.
