He was born unto the union of the late Larry Lee and Carol Sadler Hart on Sunday, February 17th, 1974 in Madison, Tennessee. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Stephanie Hart; children, Johnathon Hart, Jamie Hart (fiancé, Cody Brown), and Jacob Hart (fiancée, Destiny); grandchildren, Skyler Hart, Brooklynn Hart, Makenna Hart, Silas Hart, Mavis Brown, and Jonah Hart; twin sister, Carrie (David) King; father and mother in-law, Kenneth and Mary Belle Rives; sister-in-law, Karen (Charlie) Langford; uncle and best friend, John Sadler; nephew, Colby Allen; niece, Abigail (Jordan) Hirt; four legged companion, Spike Bo Hart.

Jason wed his childhood sweetheart, Stephanie, on Friday, April 27th, 1990 in Wilson County, Tennessee when the two were just 16 years old. The two were instant soulmates at just 12 years old and together shared 37 years. Jason was a man that truly worshipped the ground his wife walked on and thought she was the most beautiful woman on the planet, something he never let anyone forget.

A dedicated worker, Mr. Hart took care of his family, specifically his wife and children, but also many others who simply needed a place- never knowing a stranger. He often joked that his home became the “Hart Mission House” due to welcoming in so many, but he wouldn’t have it any other way. Holding the title of “Poppy” proudly, Jason spoiled his grandbabies beyond measure, as he did everyone he deeply loved.

Mr. Hart enjoyed various things such as fishing, music, and being a sports card collector. He took pride in preparing food for his family, mainly on the grill, and is known for his signature Italian Chicken. His love for the great state of Tennessee’s sports teams was unwavering, supporting the University of Tennessee Volunteers but especially, the Tennessee Titans. His moto was “family, then the Titans”. Soon after Jason’s terminal diagnosis, his goal was to fight not only for his family, but fight long enough to be able to watch the 2024 Titans Pre-Season game. Mr. Hart’s wish came true and he was honored to even be featured on the news as he was recognized for being a true fan. Jason will forever bleed blue.

Mr. Hart’s legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering strength will continue to inspire us. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all.

“Did you hear me?”
