Jason Lamont “Booty” Porter

Jason Lamont “Booty” Porter was born February 11, 1976. He departed his life on October 23, 2021.

He was the youngest son of fourteen children born to Leslie and the late Irene Porter.

Jason was a lifelong member of Red Bank Missionary Baptist Church, Red Bank, Alabama, where he served on many auxiliaries.

Jason loved to spend time with his kids, fish, and was always ready to play a good game of cards. He was always ready to pick with someone or their kids and he was a huge fan of the Florida Gators.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 17 years, Elizabeth Porter, a daughter, Ajada Porter (Hillsboro, AL), two sons: Terrance Porter and Langley Porter (both of Tuscumbia, AL) and he aided in the rearing of Xzavior Wilson (Tuscumbia, AL).

Additionally, he leaves his siblings: Marilyn Mitchell (Raymond), Charlene Jones (Frankie), Lee King (Diane), Anita McCoy (Thomas), Wanda Boggus, Daphne Cooper, Vivian Jones, Parnell Porter, Darrell Porter (Charlotte), Frederick Porter (Jennifer), Leslie Porter, Jr. (Barbara), Wendy Porter, and Renota Porter, as well as his aunts and uncles: Alma Buchanan (Carl), Annie Mae Reed (Willie), Howard King (Phyllis), Clara King (Matt), Lula Reedus (Richard), and Lieutenant Fuqua (Mattie) And a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
