Jason L. Oates, 32, formerly of Florence, died Thursday, March 28, 2013. Public viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Thompson and Son Funeral Home, Florence. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Hutsville, with burial in Valhalla Memorial Garden, Huntsville. The body will be placed in the church one hour before services.
