Jason Johnston passed away on August 25, 2024 at age 56. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is 2 p.m. Sunday, September 1, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from noon until the service at 2 p.m. Burial will be private in Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
Jason Cole Johnston was born in Lebanon TN to Shirley Whitaker Johnston and Gary Johnston. He had an incredible curiosity for how things work. He enjoyed tinkering and taking things apart, so he was naturally drawn to being an auto mechanic. Jason loved music, especially pumping through his car stereo. It pleased him to set speakers in vehicles so others could have the same appreciation for music as he did.
Jason is survived by his sons Devin Johnston and Tyler Johnston, and lifelong partner Jennifer Johnston. He is preceded in death by his parents, Shirley Henry and Gary Johnston, and sister Dana Smith.
