Jason J. Beck, age 47 from Wellington, lost his life in an accidental drowning late Wednesday afternoon on July 3, 2024 at Oak Mountain State Park.
Jason was born July 2, 1977 in Dothan, Alabama to Richard C. Beck and the late Carolyn H. Beck.
Jason was a resident of Wellington, Alabama for the past forty four years. He received his technical training in upholstery from J.F. Ingram State Technical College and was the sole owner and operator of Twisted Angel Customs.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn H. Beck of Wellington, AL. Survivors include his daughter, Genesis Rayne Beck of Gulf Shores, AL., his father, LTC (Ret) Rusty Beck, Sister Sheila (Troy) Barnes, and two brothers, MAJ (Ret) Clayton (Marykaren) Cox, Rusty Beck II, all of Wellington AL.; an aunt, Linda Beck of Cashiers, NC., nephews Troy (Tracy) Barnes, Jr. and Gabriel Cox, both of Wellington, AL, a niece Morgan Cox (Blake) Jennings of Pleasant Valley, AL.; three great nephews, Ethan and Eli Barnes of Wellington, AL., and Miles Jennings of Pleasant Valley, AL.
Jason had numerous friends which included: Kevin Malsy, Marcal Goode, Brett Russell, Juhn Louissaint, Jason Haithcock, Jonathan Gilpin, Grant Burt, Brian Burt, Todd and LeAnn Willingham.
