Graveside service for Janie Elizabeth Stroupe, age 75, of Falkville, will be Wednesday, December 22, 2021, 1:30 p.m. Decatur City Cemetery with Rev. Earl Holt officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stroupe, who died Friday, December 17, 2021, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born November 3, 1946, in Pascagoula, MS, to Lester B. Ramboux and Arlene Wright Ramboux. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dean Stroupe, her daughter, Jessica Dyan Stroupe, and her parents. She was a cosmetologist with Merle Norman.
She is survived by two sons, Christopher Jason Stroupe (fiancé, Sarah Tait) of Decatur and Quentin Stroupe of Oxford, MS; and one granddaughter, Danielle Stroupe of Huntsville.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
