Janie B. Robinson, 84, moved to her new home in heaven on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. She was born in Itawamba County, MS, was a farm equipment business owner and a member of The Church of God, Belmont, MS.
Services will be Friday, August 23, 12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Sister Lisa Pharr and Bro. Gary Puckett officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 23, 10-12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Raper; granddaughter, Keitha Keele (Vencent); great-grandson, Kilbey Miller; sisters, Jetty Jackson, Betty Brown, Hilda Tanner and Eunelda Parrish (Tommy); sister-in-law, Joan Pearson; brother-in-law, Wayne Emerson and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robinson; her parents, Dock and Quay Pearson; brothers, Charlie Pearson and Frank Pearson; sisters, Della Emerson, Julea Pearson and Twilla Pearson; brothers-in-law, Bill Jackson, Bud Brown and Dan Tanner and her son-in-law, Michael Raper.
Pallbearers will be Kilbey Miller, Vencent Keele, Dicky Sparks, Alton Hester, David Holland and Doug Cates.
