Mrs. Janice W. Badger, age 86, of Empire, AL, peacefully passed away on March 9, 2024. She was born on April 3, 1937. Janice dedicated 44 years of her life to the banking industry before retiring.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Bell Sumiton Chapel at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Dillworth Church of Christ Cemetery.
Janice is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Robert F. Badger; her daughter, LuAnn York, and son-in-law, Rick York; grandchildren Matthew York (Melo) and Stephanie Burgess (Jackson); great-grandchildren Aidan York, Caleesi York, Asher Burgess, and Beau Burgess; brother Gary Watson (Debbie); sister June Harrison (Wayne); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard L. and Sybil Watson.
