Janice Traywick Ledbetter, 63, passed away in the late evening of May 31, 2023 while surrounded by loved ones.
Janice is survived by her mother, Helen Vinson, her long-time love, Terry Daniel, children Misty Gallman (Jamie) and Jimmy Ware (Maressa), grandchildren Alyssa and Sadie Ware and Lakelyn Gallman, sisters Carol Hubbard (Fred), Bonnie Kilgore (Randy Cosper), Tammy Stone, and Jamie Gardner (Alan), and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Traywick, her sister, Dawn Floyd, her nephew, Michael Clark, and stepfather, Ora Vinson.
Janice was born on March 8, 1960 in Sylacauga, Alabama to James and Helen Traywick. She was the third of six daughters. As a young child, she and her family moved to Munford, Alabama, where she spent the majority of her life. She was cherished by most who knew her as she shared her positive and kind personality. She loved being outdoors, gardening, painting, crafting, and taking care of nature. She found immense joy in being with her grandbabies. She was a natural caretaker, both in the natural and professional sense. Her love of people and helping others was immeasurable. She brought joy to many more lives than she realized.
A Celebration of Life will be announced by Janice’s family in the coming weeks.
