Janice Thorne Berry, 74, Tuscumbia, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Tuscumbia church of Christ. The funeral service will immediately follow at the church with Steve Grissom and Jeff Abrams officiating. Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia.
Janice was a member of Tuscumbia church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Berry; and parents, Sardis and Vernice Thorne.
She is survived by her children, Jon Berry (Jen) of Florence, and Susan Berry Huff (James) of Searcy, AR; grandchildren, Lakin Monroe (Josh) of Florence, and Ellie, Libby, and Katie Huff of Searcy, AR; great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Carson; sister, Elba Lue Blackwell (John) of Tuscumbia; brother, Burrell Thorne (Debbye) of Tuscaloosa; several nieces, nephews, and special extended family members.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Blackwell, Johnny Blackwell, William Hayes, Tyler Hayes, Seth Grissom, and Bart Rickard.
Memorials may be made to Mars Hill Bible School or Tuscumbia church of Christ.
