Funeral services for Mrs. Janice Melton, age 65, are scheduled for 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 28, 2013 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. George Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Mrs. Melton passed away late Friday at her home in Lexington. She was born April 26, 1948 in Decatur County to the late Delbert and Dorthy Byrd Taylor. She was an associate at Walmart and a member of New Hope Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mr. Dale Melton, her daughter Lisa Melton Holmes, her son, Jason (Vickie) Melton all of Lexington, her brother, Odell (Glenda) Taylor of Darden, and three grandsons, Cody Holmes, Jason Orr, and Zack Melton.
