Janice Marie Rickard was born December 20, 1945 in Jackson, TN the daughter of the late Ben Onie McGee and Grace Bell Hicks McGee.
Janice was united in marriage to Chester Enoch Rickard on June 29, 1963. Mr. Rickard preceded her in death on September 11, 2018.
She was a graduate of Selmer High School, class of 1963. She worked at Brown Shoe Company the majority of her life, went to nursing school and retired from Jackson General in 2007. She was a member of the New Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
In her spare time Janice enjoyed reading and gardening. She definitely had a green thumb raising vegetables. She was an avid watcher of the Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune.
Janice departed this life on February 22, 2024 in at the age of 78 Years, 2 Months, 2 Days.
She is survived by three daughters: Tabatha Vance and husband Steve, Tamara McMahan and husband Teddy, Katrina Kee and husband Brian; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
