Janice M. Hughes, 68, died Friday, November 23, 2018, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born September 17, 1950, to Paul “ Shorty” and Jesma Kent Hughes. She was an administrative assistant at North Mississippi Medical Center for over 30 years. She enjoyed participating in the MSU Extension office’s activities. She was a member of the Edelweiss Garden Club. She loved arts and crafts and was very artistic.
Services will be at 12:00 p. m. Sunday, November 25, 2018, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Robert Wood officiating. Burial will be in the Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include one brother, Doug Hughes of Fulton; two nieces, Paula Hughes and Clarissa Hughes, both of Fulton; two nephews, Eric “Tiny” Hughes of Fulton and Zach Hughes (Danelle) of Tupelo; five great nephews and great nieces, Ryan Gentry (Kayla)of Tremont, Taylor Watts and Madison Watts, both of Fulton, and Cole Hughes and Jaxon Hughes, both of Tupelo; two great great nieces, Hadleigh Gentry and Presley Gentry, both of Tremont.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be her nephews and great nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Sunday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
