Janice M Cabaniss, age 79, of Gurley, Alabama passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023. She was born November 29, 1943 to Gordon and Lois Gladney.
Janice is survived by her husband of 20 years, Franklin L Cabaniss; daughter Saundra Cheatwood (Tony Lawson); and son Douglas Paul Cheatwood Jr (Ginger); sister Ruth Mims; stepdaughters, Maletha Branan (David), Marla Swinford (Chevy), Darla Anderson (Andy); stepson Russ Farrey (Kathy), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and special friend Betty.
She is preceded by her parents Gordon Gladney, Lois Territo, and husband Merlin Farrey
A visitation for Janice will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 12:00 PM at Nelson Chapel Cemetery, Gurley, Alabama.
