Janice Kay Hamilton

Janice Kay Hamilton, 82, of Athens, AL passed away Friday March 14, 2025, at Alive Hospice residence home in Murfreesboro, TN surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Hamilton was born June 12, 1942 in Hundred, West Virginia to James Anderson and Gay Wiles Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Wayne Hamilton.

Mrs. Hamiliton was a member of Sardis Springs Church of Christ. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son William “Bill” Hamilton, one daughter Melinda Higginbotham (John), six grandchildren Danielle Johnson (Clay), William “Will” Hamilton (Tiffani), Noah Higginbotham, Kate Harris (Drew), Bree Higginbotham and Tess Higginbotham, two great grandchildren Mara and Gideon.

There will be a private service for the family.
