Janice Gail Bowen
August 6, 1947 – November 28, 2012
She was born August 6, 1947 to George Gordon and Ruby Wright Bowen in Fulton, MS. She graduated from Itawamba Agricultural High School in 1965 and Itawamba Junior College in 1967. She loved music, dancing, and was an avid collector of antiques. She was fond of all animals and loved to work outdoors in her yard. She was always energetic and outgoing with a smile for everyone, with her life being lived by the Golden Rule. She was employed for 46 years with the Tupelo Branch of Bancorp South, where she held many job titles before achieving her title of Vice President at the Bank’s Operation Center. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her sons- Jarrett Heath Moore of Evergreen; Jed Benjamin Moore (Shelia) of Peppertown; Granddaughters- Madison Jade Moore; Katie Renfroe; Grandson- Cody Renfroe; Great Grandson- Mattox Renfroe all of Fulton; Sisters- Georgia Bowen Manning Owen (Charles) of Mooreville; Patsy Bowen Bennett of Tupelo and Nina Bowen Cantrell (Larry) of Tupelo; Nieces- Desha Bennett Cruse (Neil) of Pontotoc; Bridgit Manning Stone (Kent) of Germantown, TN; Jana Manning Kidd (Jeff) of Tupelo; Andrea Manning Pongetti (Joey) of Tupelo; Charlotte Bowen Dicus (Chris) of Oxford; Nephews- James Andrew Manning (Loretta) of Tupelo; Bob Bennett Jr. (Laura) of Woodlands, TX; Joseph Bennett (Cari) of Plano, TX; Shea Rial of Charlotte, NC; 4 Great Nephews and 6 Great Nieces; 2 Sisters-in-laws: Shirley Martin Bowen of Mantachie and Wanda Wheeler Bowen of Fulton; Special Friend- Frederick Humbers of Amory
