Mrs. Janice Claire Eversole, age 79, of McMinnville, TN, passed from this life on October 14, 2023, surrounded by family at her home. She was born June 24, 1944, in Meta, KY, was a former assembly line worker for General Motors, a member of McMinnville First Free Will Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by parents Snow and Gracie Williams Deskins, by siblings Charles Deskins, Etta Varney, Millie Ruth Varney, William Deskins, and James Gary Deskins.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years William (Bill) Raymond Eversole, their children William David (Rhonda) Eversole, Ronald Ray (Malissa) Eversole, and Charles Shawn (Gina) Eversole, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and siblings Larce Harold Deskins, Harry Truman (Tunie) Deskins, and Elsie Ann (Ted) Frances. Several nieces, nephews, family members, friends, and church members also surviving.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 18, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Dennis Deweese will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. The Eversole Family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Wednesday 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or to the Gideon’s International Memorial Bible Program.
