Janice Carolyn McQuery, age 75, of Mount Juliet, TN passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023, at her residence. She was a native of Rogersville, AL, a homemaker, and a member of Brookside Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Adams, Sr. and Emma “Lucy” Mitchell Adams; her husband, Donald R. McQuery; and one step-son, Steven McQuery.
She is survived by one daughter, Shannon Johnson of Portland, TN; one step-son, Michael McQuery of Smyrna, TN; two step-grandchildren, Misty McQuery and Jeslyn McQuery; four step-great-grandchildren, Desiree McQuery, Ashton McQuery, Gage Cousin, and Leilani Cousin; one brother, Herman H. Adams, Jr. of Old Hickory, TN; and one sister, Dee Gish of Winter Springs, FL.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2023, with Randy Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Grove Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
