Janice Carol Jaggers Cox Janice Carol Cox (Jaggers) was called home to be with Jesus on November 12, 2023, at the age of 74. Janice is survived by a son, Jason Jaggers (Brandy) of Tupelo and a daughter Amanda Hollaway Tolar (Jason) of Booneville; ten grandchildren, Gage Jaggers and fiancée Kara Cobun, Nate Jaggers, Luke Jaggers, Cassady Vick (Tyler), Cayson Terry (Aleigha), Alayna McCaulla and special friend Carson Null, Tripp McCaulla, Alex Tolar (Camie), Allison Tolar, and Brooklyne Tolar; three great grandchildren, Ayden Vick, Josie Vick, and Max Tolar; a brother, Rickey Jaggers (Kathie) of Pontotoc; niece, Autumn Ritchie (Jason); nephew, Will Jaggers (Merilee); step mother, Dodie Jaggers of Pontotoc; and numerous beloved great nieces/nephew and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Delma and Francis Jaggers of Pontotoc.

Jan was born on February 13, 1949, in Pontotoc County.  Jan worked many years at Rankin School and drove a bus for Tupelo City School.  In addition, she worked numerous years at Danver’s Restaurant and Walmart.  There were not many places she could go in public that she did not know someone.  Jan was loved by many and will forever be remembered and loved by all that she touched while on this temporary journey, before making it to her forever home in Heaven.

Services will be Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 3PM, with visitation beginning at 10AM, at Valley Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Janice’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Gage, Cayson, Nate, Luke, Tripp, and Tyler. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
