Janice Agalie' Jensen Robertson  Janice Agalie’ Jensen Robertson, age 82, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at Methodist Hospital of Germantown, TN.
She was born on April 30, 1940, in Hot Springs, NM, the daughter of the late Fern Evelyn German and Harry Francis Jensen. Jan enjoyed a thirty-eight-year nursing career beginning in the Emergency Room at Jackson-Madison County General and ultimately devoted her life’s work to elderly Alzheimer’s patients giving them their best life with the most dignity possible.
She enjoyed getting together with her friends, baking, indulging in her lifelong love of reading, gardening, spending time at the keys of her baby grand piano, and all the time she could get with her beloved family. After retirement, she was happiest leading a quiet life in her little house along with her faithful dog companion, Daisy.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Noel and her two sons, Greg Robertson, and David Robertson.
Jan is survived by her daughter, Janelle Coffman and her husband Keith of Beech Bluff, TN; two grandsons, Jason Allen Robertson of Jackson and Michael Jensen-Travis Coffman of Beech Bluff, TN; four bonus grandchildren, Heather (Andy) Ray of Humboldt, Jeremy (Kristin) Coffman of Wildersville, Holly (Jonathan) King of Greenbrier and Jennifer Coffman of Jackson and (In her words) “a multitude of great-grandchildren” eleven to be exact.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2022, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Phil Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Henderson County, TN.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Arrington Funeral Directors.
Pallbearers to serve will be Michael Coffman, Jonathan King, Aidan Robertson, Jason Robertson, Dewayne Robinson and Tyler Robertson.
